Okay, so today I decided to tackle Module 9 of AP Psychology. I’ve been kinda putting off the psych stuff, but hey, gotta get it done, right?

Getting Started
First, I grabbed my textbook and, you know, actually opened it. I skimmed through the chapter headings to get a feel for what Module 9 was all about. Seemed like it was mostly focused on developmental psychology – you know, how people grow and change throughout their lives.
Taking Notes
Then, I started reading. Seriously, the hardest part is just starting. I made sure I had my notebook and a pen ready. As I read, I jotted down key terms and definitions. I’m not gonna lie, sometimes I had to read things a couple of times to really get it. Like, what’s the difference between assimilation and accommodation again? Had to look that up a few times.
When I was doing that, I use my own simple words to write. This make me feel so release.
Making it Stick
- I tried to connect the concepts to real-life examples. Like, when they talked about Piaget’s stages of cognitive development, I thought about how my little cousin acts at different ages. That made it way easier to remember.
- I also doodled some little diagrams in my notebook. Nothing fancy, just little stick figures and stuff to help me visualize the ideas.
- Sometimes read it out loud.
Reviewing
After I finished reading the module, I went back and reviewed my notes. I tried to quiz myself on the key terms and concepts. And, I’ll admit, I definitely had to flip back to the textbook a few times to double-check things.

Feeling Accomplished
Finally I make it done! It probably took me a couple of hours all in, but hey, I finished Module 9! Feels good to check that off my list. Now, onto Module 10… or maybe I’ll take a break first. Yeah, definitely a break.
