Alright, so the other day I was messing around online, you know, just killing time. And I stumbled upon this thing called a “galactic astrology birth chart.” Sounds kinda wild, right? I was like, “What the heck is that?” So, I started poking around to figure it out.
First off, I needed to actually find one of these charts. It’s basically like a map of the sky but made when you were born. Apparently, some people also call it a starseed birth chart calculator. I just typed that into Google, and bam, a bunch of websites popped up. They all had these calculators where you punch in your birth date, time, and place.
So I entered my details into one of them – just a random one, really. I was born on July 15, 1995, at 9:30 AM, in good old Los Angeles. Hit enter, and boom, this colorful, crazy-looking chart came up. It had all these symbols and lines, and honestly, it looked like a bunch of gibberish at first.
- There were these 12 sections around the edge, which I guess are the zodiac signs. You know, like Aries, Taurus, all those guys.
- Then there were these little symbols scattered around, which I later found out were planets. Like, there was one for the Sun, one for the Moon, and so on.
- And these lines all over the place? No idea. They’re probably connecting the planets or something, but it just looked super complicated.
After getting the chart, I had to figure out what all this stuff meant. I went down a bit of a rabbit hole, reading articles and watching videos about how to read these birth charts. And man, there’s a lot to it!
I started with the zodiac signs. Each one of those 12 sections represents a different sign, and where the planets were in those signs when I was born supposedly says something about my personality. Like, my Sun is in Cancer, which apparently means I’m all emotional and sensitive. Okay, I can see that.
Then I started looking at the planets. Each planet represents something different, like Mercury is about communication, and Venus is about love and relationships. So where these planets are in your chart can supposedly tell you about those parts of your life.
And then you got houses. Each of the 12 sections are divided into different parts called houses. They represent areas of life. Like, the first house is about your sense of self, and the seventh house is about partnerships. So the planets in your houses can indicate stuff about those areas. At least that’s what I gathered. Like, Jupiter in the tenth house might mean success in your career. It’s a lot to take in.
I spent a good few hours just trying to make sense of my own chart. I won’t lie, it was pretty overwhelming. But it was also kinda cool to see how all these different things are supposed to connect and what they might say about me.
Now, I’m not saying I’m suddenly an astrology expert or anything. Far from it! This was just a fun little experiment. But it was interesting to learn about this stuff and see how it all works, at least on a basic level. I can see why people get really into it. It’s like this whole other way of looking at yourself and your life.
Did it really tell me anything new about myself?
I don’t know, maybe. Some of it seemed to fit, some of it not so much. But it was definitely a fun way to spend an afternoon. And hey, maybe I’ll dig a little deeper into this galactic astrology stuff sometime. Who knows, maybe there’s something to it. Or maybe it’s just a bunch of hooey. Either way, it was a good time.
