Okay, so I wanted to figure out the requirements for the psychology major at JMU. Here’s how I went about it.
First, I opened my browser. Gotta start somewhere, right?
Then, I typed “JMU psychology major requirements” into the search bar. Seemed like the most obvious thing to do.
I scrolled through the * was a bunch of stuff, but, I looked for anything directly from the JMU website.
I clicked,It took me to a page with all sorts of info about the psych program.
Figuring Out the Courses
Next, I started digging into the actual requirements. They had it broken down into different sections, which was helpful.
- I saw there were some general education requirements.
- Then, I found the core psychology courses.
- I also noticed there were options for different concentrations, like clinical psych or developmental * have to pick and choose.
I spent a good chunk of time just reading through all of * wasn’t super exciting, but I wanted to make sure I understood everything.
Making Sense of It All
Finally, I felt like I had a pretty good grasp on what was needed for the major.I thought about how many credits were required for each section and how it all added up.
