Okay, so today I decided to dig into the Journal of Psychology & Christianity. I’ve been curious about how these two fields intersect, and I figured the best way to learn was to just dive in.

First, I spent some time just browsing the journal’s website. I wanted to get a feel for the kinds of articles they publish. I noticed a lot of different topics – everything from clinical psychology to theological reflections. It seemed pretty broad, which was cool.
Finding an Article
Next, I started looking for a specific article to focus on. I didn’t want anything too heavy or technical, just something that would give me a good introduction to the journal’s overall vibe. I scrolled through a bunch of titles and abstracts until one caught my eye. It was about the relationship between forgiveness and spiritual well-being. Sounded interesting!
Reading and Note-Taking
Then, I settle in and read the article. Honestly, that was my whole afternoon! I took notes, highlighting anything that I wanted to follow up on or anything that really struck me. I have to say the contents are difficult to understand, at least need a cup of coffee.
- The authors used a survey to gather data.
- They looked at how different aspects of forgiveness related to different measures of spiritual well-being.
- They found some pretty interesting correlations.
The Wrap-Up
After reading, I spent a little time just reflecting on what I’d read. I jotted down some initial thoughts in my journal, not for publication, that’s what I record my journey of discovery. I think I’ll probably go back and re-read parts of it later, just to make sure I really understood everything. But I did it!

Overall, it was a pretty productive day. I feel like I have a much better sense of what the Journal of Psychology & Christianity is all about. And I definitely learned something new about forgiveness and spirituality. Might even explore some more articles in the future!
