So, yesterday I got this wild idea to mess around with something called “Primal Astrology.” Never heard of it before, but it sounded cool, mixing Western and Eastern zodiac signs. I’m a Leo, born in the Year of the Rooster, so I was like, “Why not? Let’s see what this ‘Leo Rooster’ thing is all about.”

First, I had to figure out what Primal Astrology actually is. Turns out, it’s basically taking your Western zodiac sign and your Chinese zodiac animal and smashing them together. It’s supposed to give you a more detailed read on your personality. Pretty neat, huh?
Next, I started digging into what it means to be a Leo. Lots of stuff about being confident, strong, and a bit of a social butterfly. Leos are also supposed to be loyal and have this warm, sunny vibe. All of which, I gotta say, I kinda see in myself. I mean, who doesn’t like to think they’re the life of the party?
Then, I looked up the Rooster. Apparently, Roosters are deep thinkers, talented, and like to stay busy. I can get behind that. I do like having a lot on my plate and thinking about random things. Also, Roosters are supposedly devoted, sometimes even beyond what they can handle. Okay, guilty as charged there.
Now for the fun part – combining them. I found some stuff specifically about the Leo Rooster. It talked about having tons of energy and a really strong presence. Sounds good so far! But then it mentioned a major flaw: pride. This Leo Rooster thing can be, ahem, a bit full of itself and push people away because it needs to feel superior. Yikes! Not the best look.
My Own Experience
- Pride Before the Fall (Literally): Just last week, I totally insisted I knew the best way to fix my friend’s computer. Spent hours on it, convinced I was right, only to make things worse. Had to call in another friend to bail me out. Definitely a Leo Rooster pride moment. I hate to admit, but that is the truth.
- Energy Overload: I started three different DIY projects this month. My apartment’s a mess, but I just can’t seem to stop coming up with new ideas. I guess that’s the energetic Rooster part in me. I have so much fun doing it!
- Social Butterfly… or Moth?: I do love being around people, but sometimes I feel like I’m just flapping around, not really connecting. Maybe that’s the Leo’s need for attention clashing with the Rooster’s tendency to overthink things. It was so strange to think about that.
So, yeah, this whole Leo Rooster experiment was pretty eye-opening. It was fun to see how these two different systems could come together and create something new. And honestly, it hit a little too close to home in some areas. I definitely need to work on that pride thing. But overall, it was a cool little journey of self-discovery. I did enjoy the time I spent on it! Might even look up what other combinations are like just for fun!
