Okay, so yesterday I decided to mess around with tarot cards. I’ve always been curious, you know? So I grabbed a deck and just started shuffling.

First, I laid out all the cards face down on my table. It looked pretty cool, all those cards with their backs showing. I picked them up one by one, trying to get a feel for them. I didn’t know what they meant, but I tried to pay attention to the pictures and symbols.
I read somewhere that you’re supposed to ask a question before you draw any cards. So, I thought hard and asked, “What should I focus on this week?” Then I started pulling cards. I drew three cards and laid them out in a row.
- The first one had a picture of a guy holding a bunch of sticks. It looked like he was struggling. I figured it might mean I’m going to have to work hard or something.
- The second card was a lady sitting on a throne with a sword. She looked super powerful and in control. Maybe that means I need to be more assertive?
- The last one was a picture of a big wheel with people on it. It looked like it was spinning. I guessed it was about change or fate or something like that.
After that, I looked up what those cards meant online. Turns out, I wasn’t too far off! The guy with the sticks is about challenges, the lady with the sword is about clarity and truth, and the wheel is about destiny and cycles. It was pretty interesting to see how the meanings matched up with my initial guesses.
I spent the rest of the evening just playing around with the cards. I drew some more, tried different spreads, and just generally had fun with it. I didn’t take it too seriously, but it was a cool way to think about things in a different way.

A Little Summary
All in all, it was a pretty fun experiment. I’m not sure if I’m a tarot expert now, but I definitely enjoyed learning about it. It’s interesting how these cards, with their pictures and symbols, can spark your imagination and make you think about things from a new perspective. Maybe I’ll do it again sometime!
