Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with Tarot cards for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s pretty wild when you start looking at the cards together, not just by themselves. The title of my notes today is “powerful tarot card combinations”, but I won’t write it again. I just started to try to learn more about this.

I started by just laying out a few cards, you know, the usual way you do a reading. But then I started to notice how some cards just seemed to vibe together. Like, you pull The Empress and The Emperor together, and it’s like, bam! That’s some serious power couple energy right there. It’s not just about what each card means on its own, but how they play off each other.
So, I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down these combos. I made notes like, “Okay, The Lovers and Two of Cups, that’s gotta be about a really solid relationship, right?” Or “The Devil and The Tower together, whoa, that seems like some major upheaval or a serious temptation you gotta watch out for.” My handwriting is not good, just some quick notes.
Then I started to do these little experiments. I’d shuffle the deck, focus on a question, and then pull out a few cards. I’d look at the combination, think about how the cards interacted, and then write down whatever came to mind. It was kind of messy at first. My notes were all over the place, but I didn’t care, I did all these things for myself and just for fun.
Here is what I wrote down, just some examples:

- The Magician and The Wheel of Fortune: This felt like a combo about taking control of your destiny, you know? Like, you have the skills (The Magician) and the universe is throwing opportunities your way (Wheel of Fortune). Go get it!
- The Hermit and The Star: This one was more chill. It felt like a message about finding hope and guidance through some alone time. Introspection, I guess.
- Death and The Sun: This combo seemed scary but I realized it was about transformation, like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Ending something to start something new and bright.
And I have other notes like these. I realized that by looking at the cards this way, the readings became way more detailed, more nuanced. It wasn’t just a simple “this card means this” anymore. It was a whole story unfolding. I felt like I was getting a much clearer picture of whatever situation I was asking about.
It’s still a work in progress, for sure. I’m no expert, not even close. But I keep practicing, keep writing down my thoughts, and keep learning. It’s like putting together a puzzle, and the more I do it, the more pieces I find. So I will continue to do these. I found that this is really a good way to learn Tarot cards!
