Okay, so today I decided to dive into this book, “Kill Me Tomorrow: A Psychological Thriller” by Britney King. I’ve been seeing it pop up on my recommendations, and the title itself is pretty intriguing, right?

Getting Started
First things first, I grabbed the book. I actually got the e-book version because, well, it’s 2024, and who has space for more physical books? Plus, it was instantly delivered. I love that.
I always find myself getting interupted when diving into new content so I made sure, I found a quiet spot. I am always more productive this way.
The Reading Experience
So, I started reading. Initially, I just read it on my computer but soon switched over to my tablet for mobility.

I made some coffee, because what’s a good reading session without a warm drink? And then, I just… got lost in it. I won’t spoil anything, but the story starts grabbing you right away. It’s one of those where you’re constantly trying to figure out what’s real and what’s not.
Keeping Track
- I used the highlight feature on my reading app to mark some passages that really stood out. There were a few lines that were just so well-written, I wanted to easily remember them.
- I also jotted down some notes in my phone’s notes app. Mostly just quick thoughts and questions as I was reading. Stuff like, “Is this character reliable?” or “Wait, what does that even mean?!” Just little things to help me keep track of the twists and turns.
Finishing Up
I didn’t finish it in one sitting, of course. Life happens. But I made it a point to read a few chapters each day. I find that’s the best way for me to really absorb a thriller – not rushing it, but also not letting it drag on for too long. Today, I finally finished the last page.
The ending really makes you think. I went back and read those highlighted parts and some of my notes. I’ve found it really helped me see the full picture, when going over some key parts of the story.
