Okay, so I decided to dive into this “Intro to Psychology: Crash Course Psychology #1” thing today. I’ve always been kinda curious about how the mind works, you know? So, I figured, why not give this popular Crash Course video a shot?

First, I found the video. It wasn’t hard, just typed it into the search bar and boom, there it was. I grabbed a notebook and pen, because, well, I like taking notes the old-fashioned way. Helps me remember stuff better.
Then, I hit play. The video started with a quick overview of what psychology even is. It talked about how it’s not just about reading minds or whatever, but about understanding behavior and mental processes. Okay, cool, I can dig that.
As I watched, I jotted down some key points. Like, they mentioned different perspectives in psychology, such as:
- Biological: How our brain and body influence our thoughts and actions.
- Behavioral: How we learn through rewards and punishments.
- Cognitive: All about our thoughts process.
I was following the video with my full attention, trying to undertand every single word.

I also paused the video a few times to really think about what was being said. Like, it’s wild to think about how much of what we do is influenced by things we’re not even aware of!
I even rewound a couple of parts to make sure I got the definitions right. For example, I was very interested in “Structuralism”, I paused and wrote every word about it.
By the end of the video, I actually felt like I had a decent grasp on the basics of psychology. It definitely sparked my interest, and I’m thinking of checking out more of these Crash Course videos. Maybe I’ll even pick up a psychology textbook sometime. Who knows, this could be the start of a whole new learning adventure for me!
