Okay, so I’ve been wanting to make these tarot card earrings for a while now, and I finally got around to it! It was a bit of a process, but I’m pretty happy with how they turned out.

Getting Started
First, I gathered all my materials. I needed some polymer clay, earring hooks, jump rings, and some tools. I also printed out some miniature tarot card images that I liked.
Making the Cards
I started by conditioning the clay. This basically just means kneading it until it’s soft and easy to work with. Then, I rolled it out into a thin sheet. I cut out rectangles that were a bit bigger than my printed tarot card images. Next, I very carefully placed the images on the clay rectangles, image side down.
Baking time! I followed the instructions on the clay package and baked them in the oven. I was anxious the whole time, hoping they wouldn’t burn!
Assembling the Earrings
Once the clay was cool, I peeled off the paper backing. I used a tiny drill bit to make a hole at the top of each card. This took some patience, I almost ruined them multiple times.

- Then I opened up a jump ring and threaded it through the hole.
- Attached the earring hook to the jump ring.
- Closed the jump ring with pliers.
- Repeated the process for the other earring.
Voila! Tarot card earrings! They’re a bit quirky, but I think they’re super cute. I’ve already gotten some compliments on them. It was a fun little project, and I’m excited to wear them out!
