Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards for a while, and I thought it would be cool to try this “within a month” spread I saw online. I’m no expert, but it’s fun to see what the cards might “say,” you know?

First, I grabbed my favorite deck – the one with the really pretty artwork. I shuffled them like a million times, just to make sure they were good and mixed up. While I was shuffling, I tried to focus on the next month, like, what might be coming up, any challenges, or good stuff, just general vibes. It’s kinda like setting an intention, I guess.
The Spread
Then, I laid out the cards in the specific “within a month” pattern. It was pretty simple, actually:
- Card 1: The overall theme for the month.
- Card 2: What I need to focus on.
- Card 3: What might challenge me.
- Card 4: What will help me.
- Card 5: The likely outcome.
So, after I pulled those 5 cards, I had to figure it all out. I flipped them over one by one, taking a good look at each one. I gotta admit, some of them were a little confusing. I mean, there are all these symbols and stuff, and it’s not always super clear what they mean.
For card One, I pulled “The Magician”. I know this is a good card, that it means I will have the resource that I need. Card Two, the focus card was “Two of Pentacles”, and it look like I need to keep balance in somewhere. Card Three that challenge me, suprisingly I got “The Lovers”. It showed that I might get in a tough situation, or get a hard choice to make. And then, card Four, showed “Six of Wands”. With the help of victory, I will overcome it. The last card, the outcome card, was “Ten of Cups”! So I think it means everthing goes well!

I grabbed my little tarot guidebook and looked up each card, just to get a better sense of what they were all about. The book has all these interpretations, and it helped me connect the cards to my own life, my own questions. It’s like, “Oh, okay, that makes sense,” or “Hmm, I wonder if that means…”.
I wrote down my thoughts about each card in my journal, trying to see how they might relate to what’s going on in my life right now. It’s not like I think the cards are predicting the future or anything, but it’s a fun way to get some perspective, to think about things from a different angle. Sometimes the cards just spark an idea, or make me realize something I hadn’t really thought about before.
So, that was my little “within a month” tarot experiment. We’ll see if any of it actually “comes true” in the next few weeks. Even if it doesn’t, it was still a fun way to spend an afternoon, and it definitely gave me some food for thought. It’s like a little self-reflection exercise, with pretty pictures!
