Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into tarot cards for a while, and I finally decided to take the plunge. I saw this deck online called “Wolf Tarot,” and I was immediately drawn to the artwork. Wolves have always been my thing, you know? So, I ordered it. I was so excited.

When the deck finally arrived, I ripped open the package like a kid on Christmas morning. The cards were even more beautiful in person! The imagery was so evocative, really capturing the wild spirit of the wolf.
My First Reading
I cleared a space on my table, lit a candle (because, atmosphere!), and laid out the cards. I didn’t really know any specific spreads, so I just kind of winged it. I shuffled the deck, focusing on a general question about my career path. Then, I drew three cards.
- Card 1: The Past – It showed a lone wolf howling at the moon. I interpreted this as representing my past feelings of independence and maybe a bit of loneliness in my career.
- Card 2: The Present – This one depicted a pack of wolves running together. I took this to mean that I’m currently in a phase where collaboration and teamwork are important. Which, yeah, that’s pretty accurate.
- Card 3: The Future – This card showed a wolf resting peacefully in a forest clearing. To me, this suggested a future of stability and contentment, finding my place and feeling at peace with my work.
Honestly, the whole experience was pretty cool. Even if it’s just a bit of fun, it gave me some things to think about. It felt like a gentle nudge to consider my current situation and where I want to go. I’ve decided that to keep exploring and learn more about the different cards and spreads. I’ll keep a notebook of cards with my findings.
I’m definitely going to keep practicing and see where this wolf tarot journey takes me. Maybe I’ll even do readings for my friends. Gotta start somewhere, right?
