Okay, so today I decided to dive into the psychology courses offered at Lone Star College. I’ve been thinking about taking some classes, maybe even getting a degree, and psychology has always interested me. So, I figured, why not start exploring?

First, I pulled up the Lone Star College website. I went straight to the academics section and started looking for the psychology department. Found it! It wasn’t too hard to navigate.
Finding the Courses
Once I was on the psychology page, I started looking at the available courses. They have a pretty good selection, from introductory classes like “General Psychology” to more specific ones like “Human Sexuality” and “Developmental Psychology.” I was kinda overwhelmed at first, there’s a lot to choose from!
I spent some time reading the course descriptions. I wanted to get a feel for what each class covered. I was particularly interested in courses related to child development, so I paid extra attention to those.
Checking the Schedule
After I had a list of courses that sounded interesting, I started checking the class schedules. I needed to see when and where the classes were offered, and if they fit with my, you know, life.

It took a bit of clicking around. I had to figure out which campus was closest to me and then check if the classes I wanted were offered there. It wasn’t super smooth, I mean, it’s a college website, not the easiest thing ever.
Making a Plan (Sort Of)
By the end of my little research session, I had a rough idea of which classes I might want to take. I even jotted down some course numbers and potential schedules. I’m not fully committing to anything yet, but I definitely feel like I have a better understanding of what Lone Star College offers in terms of psychology.
I even started looking for information on how to apply, if it ever gets to that stage. Baby steps!
My Thoughts
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the psychology program at Lone Star. They seem to have a good variety of courses, and the course descriptions made them sound interesting. The website could be a little easier to use, but hey, it got the job done. I’m definitely going to keep exploring this option. Who knows, maybe I’ll be a psychology student soon!
